‘s four brand new professional dancers looked ready for action in new teaser images released on Saturday ahead of the upcoming series.

European cup winner Vito Coppola, Chinese National Champion Carlos Gu, former Under 21 British National Champion Lauren Oakley and Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas are all raring to go for the show which starts this month.

And it has now been revealed that the four new world-class professional dancers are to be introduced to viewers via a cinematic dance routine, which they have already filmed.

It will be shown on the Strictly Come Dancing launch show which airs on Saturday September 17 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

The four newbies join the professional dancers already revealed for the upcoming series: Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, 우리카지노쿠폰 Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu.

Show favourites Alijaz Skorjanec and Oti Mabuse both quit Strictly Come Dancing earlier this year.

Not every pro dancer will be paired with a celebrity with four traditionally performing only in the pro routines.  

Vito Coppola said of his new role: ‘I am really excited to become part of this family.I cannot wait to start this new adventure and to challenge myself. Strictly sto arrivando! (or: Strictly I am coming!)’

Carlos Gu added: ‘I’m thrilled to join Strictly and very excited to get started. It’s a new chapter of my life and a new challenge as well.I’m absolutely ready to take on this journey and to shine.’

Former Under 21 British National Champion Lauren Oakley gushed: ‘I’ve grown up watching Strictly, always hoping that one day I could be part of the best show on television, doing what I love the most.’

Latin champ Michelle Tsiakkas said: ‘Being a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing has been my dream ever since I was a little girl.’

The upcoming series will be the first in three years to be broadcast without Covid measures, which forced bosses to introduce restrictions including ‘bubbles’ for training and limited audience numbers. 

As the new series returns, Strictly is set to welcome a slew of new yet familiar faces to the dance floor.

The line-up consists of Kym Marsh, Fleur East, Ellie Simonds, Matt Goss, Helen Skelton, Will Mellor, Kaye Adams, Tyler West and James Bye.

Series 20 of Strictly will see its stars celebrate 100 years of the BBC with a special themed week this year.

To mark the centenary, the Strictly couples will either dance ‘to a theme tune from an iconic BBC programme or in tribute to one of the BBC’s most-loved services’.

The anniversary show is also set to feature two special routines by the professionals – one will honour the BBC’s Natural History Programming unit, while the other will see the dancers ‘crashing’ some flagship shows.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One for a launch show on September 17The first live show will air on September 24, with It Takes Two returning on September 26
